Terms of Service

Welcome to BOOZER, operated by ROOGUL ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using BOOZER, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older (or the legal drinking age in your location) to use BOOZER.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

3. Acceptable use & content rules

  • Only upload images of beer pints (over 50% full), beer bottles, or beer cans, with optional caption.
  • Don't post illegal content, hate speech, harassment, threats, explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or anything that violates rights of others.
  • Don't upload photos with identifiable people without their permission; avoid sensitive personal data in content.
  • Don't attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or its APIs.
  • We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. AI image verification

When you upload a photo, BOOZER uses automated analysis (via OpenAI's GPT Vision API) to verify if your image is a pint glass (over 50% full), beer bottle, or beer can, and to help with moderation. This process is automated; humans do not routinely review your images unless required for moderation or legal reasons.

5. Intellectual property & licence

You retain rights in your content. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content within BOOZER and in materials that promote the app (e.g., screenshots, app store listings). You can delete your posts at any time; cached/backup copies may persist for a limited period.

6. Safety, moderation & enforcement

We may review, remove, or restrict content and features to protect users and comply with law. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or our policies.

7. App changes & availability

We may add, change, or remove features and may suspend or stop the service. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Disclaimers

BOOZER is for entertainment and social connection. We do not promote excessive or unsafe drinking. Please drink responsibly. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BOOZER is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Liability

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of BOOZER, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Age restriction

You confirm you are 18+ (or the legal drinking age in your location) and will not enable use by minors.

11. Privacy

Your use of BOOZER is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you via in-app notice or email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local consumer law provides otherwise.
